Rick came to ACM in May 2011 after spending the past six years as publisher of the Neosho (Mo.) Daily News, and the past three years as regional publisher of Neosho, the Carthage (Mo.) Press, the Aurora (Mo.) Advertiser and the Greenfield (Mo.) Vedette.

He also served as director of Specialty Publications for Liberty Group Publishing, managing editor & sports editor at the Carthage (Mo.) Press, managing editor & sports editor at the Baxter Springs (Kan.) Citizen, and news editor at the ABC station in the Joplin, Mo., market, KODE Action 12 News.

With more than 16 years of experience in the print, broadcast and digital media industry, Rick has earned more than 50 honors from the Missouri Press Association, Kansas Press Association, Associated Press and Missouri Broadcasters Association for journalism excellence.

He is a graduate of Missouri Southern State University with a bachelor’s degree in communications, emphasis in journalism.
